3. Please state your current job position(s): Currently employed by Dickenson County Public Service Authority, Part-Time, and a full time student at UVA-Wise.

4. Please state any past relevant work experience: Employed by Town of Clintwood Water Department from 2004-2006, Part-Time

5. Please state the goals you want to accomplish if you are elected: (see question 7 & 8)

6. Please state the biggest concern(s), in your opinion, that affects our area: The biggest concern affecting Dickenson County economically is transporation. Businesses look at Dickenson County and see intelligent, hard working people , essential necessities such as easy water and wasetewater accessibility, and the technology necessary to operate a business in the 21st century. The problem is, however, that you cannot quickly and easily reach these tremendous assets.

7. Please state what you would do to address those concerns: I plan to aggresively pursue funds and action from the General Assembly to aide us in addressing this critical issue. I intend to do all I can to make sure that the plans for the Pound By-Pass are completely carried out as was recently passed by the Commonwealth Transportation Board. I will push our state delegate and senator to ensure that we are being equally and fairly represented on this issue. Roads are the cornerstone to any stable infastructure and I hope to be the leader of the massive improvement that it's going to take to tackle this pressing issue.

8. Please state why you should be elected: I would like to see greater press coverage of Board meetings to renew accountability to the Board of Supervisors and to involve the public in its local government. I would like to be the leader on an aggressive push to recruit bussiness and offer greater job opportunities for Dickenson County by improving and updating our infastructure. I want to stop wasteful spending in order to achieve a stable and balanced budget with a surplus that creates the possiblity of future tax cuts for the citizens of Dickenson County and enables us to aide our precious communities in whatever way possible.
I would like to one day be able to offer some form of higher education in Dickenson County rather than have our young people leave the county and never look back or be forced to drive 45+ minutes to college.
